It will be my 7 years as a photographer. I really can't believe it! I'm doing this for almost 7 years and I thank God for taking care of me all these years despite many people tells me that without a full time job as your secondary support. I can't sustain. I remembered the first few weddings, one word to describe. NERVOUS. So I did lots of research to get myself prepared for client's big day. One very interesting word that I saw a photographer said and I remembered until now and this is the word stays on how I approach every job. Is this word Observation. I love to observe that's why I love photography, to stop and keep what I observe and these are the documents that will reminds me of what I saw and heard.

Taken in Kuala Lipis. One morning.

Lately I've been busy checking out some tech stuff online.. I admit I really hate to check on tech stuff, it turns out to be more and more complicated every time I have the chance to look through the specifications that a particular electronic stuff and for my instance.. a Camera.. Lenses.. it cause drowsiness to my head.

In the end, it depends if you are a person that loves to photograph. if not, the thirst of getting the latest will consume you. Trust me. I saw many of them. I just got a Canon 60D. I owned a 10D, 20D, 30D(Still with me-first camera)40D and finally a 60D and I'm so happy with this camera. Good enough to do what I required, But I still love my old 5D. 7 years old technology but still gives me beautiful pictures. So I guess you have to ask yourself a question when you want to get a DSLR. "What do I want to do with it"

Yeah, am back after almost 2 months gone from blogging this... very busy and life changed to very much better direction of course :)Just came back from Kuala Lipis for a bridal shoot session with Alan & Joanna(will promise to blog soon enough)and I can't describe how blessed I am to have interesting clients that gave me unexpected challenges in getting their wedding photos done.. this time round... we went to a rubber & Cocoa estate as our location! TONS of mosquitoes!!! as I say... interesting... here I meetup with some friendly locals that will not hesitate to show you around, to describe in details on how to get to a certain place.. to love to have their photos taken... and even their food portion is bigger! I might not make lots of money as a photographer in fact, we photographers struggles.. but the experience is priceless...

As I'm on my way to Kuala Lipis, many things came into mind, I asked myself this "do you want to shoot something that your client can keep for years or what your clients wants"? I have clients that dictate every single shot that I took... I have clients ask "huh? stay close again ah? you can do something else or not? like I don't smile?" personally.. no offense... Chinese will looks like communist when they don't smile alright! :) questions waging war in my mind... in the end, I made a conclusion. That some people only looks for the "experience" on getting their important wedding photos done and some really cherish photos that can last(photos that last doesn't requires you to do Titanic pose for e.g.) you just have to be who you are and smiles looking at the camera, unless you tell me that you are not into the getting married thingy, the you can forget this blog and click to others... :)

I'm not interested on getting cool out of the world shots from you, Just be who you are.

Really, after 5+ years into wedding photography... I'm not there to get your photos for expanding my business... wins this or that... I just want to get you photos that you can keep. Not a wedding shoot experience.

Oh yeah!!! the photo of the kids above! LOVE THIS LOTS!!.. its been a long time since I had such feel in taking photographs.. it happens in the morning while waiting for Joanne to get herself ready for the shoot, outside the house while admiring the morning sun.. bump into a bunch of kids playing chase chase.... holding my camera, suddenly a girl appears from her house back door "uncle, pai wor pai wor(means take my photographs in mandarin) as usual.. I took it :)

Promise you guys the next post, it will be a wedding shoot post. Patience.... :)

Been looking for photos from my hard drive to browse while downloading the ROM photos that I took this morning. Found photos that I took while traveling to Japan for a shoot, it is taken from the street of Harajuku in Tokyo and I love this so much. Snapping photos is what I like, I like being alone with my camera and snaps whatever triggers me to... where ever I go, I will try to snap something that one day I will appreciate it, be it a photos of people, photos of objects... I will try my best to snap photos that matters to me. Frankly speaking the above Harajuku shot is taken as a sample for my following shots... :) but it leads me to remember something, walking through the street and how I ended up in a sushi restaurant... haha :)

As a photographer, I always reminds myself on taking photos that matters, be it to me or to others, a photograph taken must worth something to someone, a document that we can keep and to be remembered, Don't you think so?

I never love traveling alone, especially when I have to leave my pregnant lady back home, the idea of driving alone for almost 4 hours on the road doesn't fancy me, lately I got many who question me on "how many years I have been doing photography"? "4 years" I said. They asked "full time"? and I answered "yeah, full time" and usually they will give me the kind of look without a word and finally they asked "how do you do it? how do you survive"? For you guys that would like to know what I did before I took this as my career, Well, many, I worked in a race track before as a time keeper,a mechanic, a sales person (Medical+kitchen equipment) sales and sales and sales.. it is out of the mundane routine that I have everyday came in my first camera, an Olympus C740 with 10X zoom!, "YES, I can go take some photos" I told myself that and there goes the rest.. it is never in my plan that I wanted so much to be a "Wedding photographer" how to break into the market+work with some big names and come out alone someday and be famous! well known! tell everyone how wonderful life is as a photographer, (I wonder is it that wonderful? if it is, why I can still see photographers putting others down? not willing to share their knowledge?) that's what I knew.. few days ago someone said to me in a wedding "Louis, you really don't care what happened outside in the market hor? I answered "Nope, I only cares what I need to do now" the conversation ends there.

The photo above took while on my way back from Cameron highland via the old road, discover there is another Boh plantation other than the one near Brinchang, the trees captured me while I try to maneuver through the winding narrow road uphill... decide to stop, get down and snap it. :)

Just back from a 4 hours drive from the north, yeah, back from Alor Setar, back to my wife :) felt so good to be back to my family :) I have the chance to get to know Cheryl's family while I'm there, you're right Cheryl, your family especially your dad loves to make sure people eat! :) and seriously sounds like Frank Sinatra when he speaks!

The folowing is one of the so many years after having this blog, posting on weddings and "happy" stuff. This will be the first time I post something that is "not so happy about it" maybe to some of you? :) lately I've been thinking if this journal reserved only to what some may call it a business blog... to get business... afterall if not? why bother updating it??(some of you might think) This morning while looking back some of the traveling photos that I took back in last year, I came to this folder. These photos I took when I'm in UK last year, when I spent some time to have a walkabout around the city of London.. I came into this place,a Cathedral, St Peter I think, on the floor lies a field of mix of various size cross. All dedicated to the soldiers that lost their life in WW2, while I took a closer look to some of the cross.. written on them was the divisions in various outfit these soldiers are in (amoured division, Calvary, etc...) then 1 particular cross catch my attention cause I think I saw a Malay name there. To my surprise! it was a cross dedicated to the soldiers who lost their life for our country. Malaysia. Written by our very first prime minister Tunku Abdul Rahman. Then I started to read some of the words written on the crosses.. sadly some written "to the unknown" A cross dedicated to the Film and Photo unit in the war was also there. I'm proud.

Then, I took some photos that I hope I can share it one day to all of you who read this. Sound sad, but I'm proud of what I'm doing as a profession, doing something for someone worth remembering. A photographer. :)

Presenting the favorite of the week. :) its always been a joy to see the time when the father walking his daughther down the aisle, I tell you.. if ever I have a soundtrack for this moment, it will be perfectly perfect for me. Brides, you never know how wonderful you are when everything seems unimportant anymore, the worries on how you look like, the question "do I look good"? seems to cease in your wedding day. As a person who photographs the event of the day, I saw many, many sets of emotions... some is sad(for the good reason) some emotionless that eventually leads to tears(normally person that really close to the couple) some smile the whole day, some constantly make the day became the brightest day with their jokes(tell you, these jokes really put me in big laugh)But when the time comes when the parents have to give their daughther away...no matter how, there will be a moment of silence.... I'm starting to understand why. :)

I'm back from Japan last night! tired! but what da blast! hahahahaha! it took me a astounding 16 hours to travel back home from Japan. Just a simple post if you guys are wondering what I have up to this week. The trip teaches me or rather... "enlighthen" (big word-aiyo!) me on something... that after being there for four 4 days, I realized that Tokyo doesn't have this problem that we have.. traffic jam. The Japanese really amazed me in many ways, from their attitude towards their job to how they cross the road to how they treat people with respect and what amuse me the most is no matter you are Japanese or not... they are so proud of their language and will speak to you using their mother tongue :)

No matter what their job is, either you are working in the subs or 7'eleven or rather I can say, in "any" job they are in, they work together as one, you can actually feel the synergy on how everything come together just because I think everyone is doing their part in their position whereelse it is sad to say it does not happened here.... everyone wants to get rich! everyone wants the same comfort... everyone wants the same job.... mind you... most of their people ride bicycle, took public transport to work. Hahaha we think constantly which car to buy next! :P

On their security. I actually saw a student in "her" elementary school, walking alone to school and my client says actually it is a norm here... can you believe that? In Malaysia? it will scared their parents gut out man! "WALK TO SCHOOL? WHAT????" maybe the fact that they understand green means "GO" and red means "STOP" helps.

Yep, still in da Japan mode.. tired... will update you guys more ya.. still have more to say :)

Here you go guys for my update after 10 days disappearing from the scene of blogging my blog... cool... kinda ryhme here "blogging my blog" :) Back to this, I took this about 3 months ago during Brandon & Vivien's wedding reception in Seremban, I always always always always love expressions! thats why I love what I'm doing right now! lately I have been bombarded by the idea of getting new stuff for my work :) you know what? it is a dillema for me at least.. asking myself if getting new equipment really guarentee me on getting what I always strive for in my journey as a photographer "expressions" You know what drives me in any event that I shot? it is the fun of getting people's expressions... it is like "FUEL" thats burning in my engine-kept me going.... never stops... unless everyone stops expressing themselves in life... I will never stop taking photos :)

Lately I came across people talking how lousy the new generation of photographers are nowadays...instead of teaching the new generations.. they boast about how authentic, full of experience they are and saying of using editing tools for photo editing are not cool... (you know what I mean) hmm... of course I do not agree with that! I'm using editing tools! hahahaha!

As for me, I don't care if you use editing tools or not, what camera, what lens, how precise you are in adjusting your settings, white balance, flash to fire or not, settings upon settings upon settings etc etc... at the end if you lose taking something worthy to keep for your client. YOU FAIL & mind you, there is no take 2 in a wedding :)

Got this while waiting for prints for the albums that I have sent them all out today! hurahh!!! finally! it has been awhile... I say to myself... must go KLCC and get your "portrait" one morning! and able to squeeze in some time to drop by and shoot approximately 5 photos of this wonderful building... (I promise you... I'll be BACK!) last 2 weeks was a hectic week for me, SICK-Work-&SICK and I can say after this morning, I can breath a little and be able to enjoy my holiday back to Penang... oh yeah.. to all da friends that follow me on this blog, when you are traveling to anywhere this holiday... travel safely... and hopefully I can blog back from Hooi Ling's home town HOORAYYY! Yesterday evening was just an ordinary day for both me and Hooi Ling, both of us have task to complete at hand.... it does not take until around 1 something A.M she came out with a statement while looking at the PC screen, "I miss my "work"" She showed me an artwork that she did for a client back in her days before she became a teacher in Fairview. I always loved the way she talked to me.. even when the first day I met her, she has been straight to the point, from the heart, no hidden, no nonsense truth approach while talking to me.. that makes me feel so comfortable to be with her. Lately in one of the wedding, I had the chance to meet up with some friends(Clients)It is truly a blessing to have the privilege to witness from their wedding day they pledge to be together with God being the center of their life until they are going to have their first child! I never thought the first thing they did when they saw me is to come and give me a hug.hand shakes. Not to cover anything, being alone in shooting+post-production was never an easy task as some of you will know I'm blessed to have my wife to help and sometimes it really getting into some of the nerves of my friends :) but I'm so grateful to all of you who is so patiently trusting me! sometimes, it feels tiring... but after listening to Hooi Ling yesterday saying "sometimes you might forgot what you can really do until you revisit the past "works" you have done" lead me into a thought and I came out with this. results = Inspired. So I guess that's the reward of being a wedding photographer, you gain friends, real friends. If you are sincere.

Yep, load with work and no time to blog about my wonderful trip in England.... coming soon with loads of photos, oh yeah, maybe you guys might wonder why I seldom go about telling people on what I used to shoot my photos eh? it is just because I always thought "nah.... not important" but on this post... I would like to introduce my "buddies" after Hooi Ling and God being my best friend!
I own a 5D and 40D with a couple of lens and flash thats all haha and of course I love them alot! not the high- end- latest-on the camera effects technology though but lovely enough to amaze me. On the photo above, I shot it with my 5D+70-200mm F2.8 (set on F10) I always loved the way Canon positioned their DSLR line. No nonsense approach on focusing on what the photographer's need rather than focusing on "extra" gimmicks. They rather design something a photographer really need rather to add more stress and choices to confuse the user. For me, I shoot event lots! so, my consideration on choosing a suitable camera heavily lies on how fast the camera can go with me. I always think as long you as the person behind the camera-you shoot-you bring your viewer to see what you see... you already succeeded as a "photographer" Lately I learned many things when I recently visited the National art gallery in London... I ended up staring to some of the painting for so long.... and visited the Da Vinci gallery with Hooi Ling in KL... at the end, the description on those wonderful painting is not focus on what type of material and brushes they used (most of it just mentioned oil on canvas) in fact the painting tells many many about the happenings and what the painter wanted to tell people thru their painting.. see those painting speak even to me of being someone who does not know how to appreciate them initially. GET THAT?!

Alright guys! I just touch down Kuala Lumpur! yep, back from London eh... I must say I will miss you London and I'll be back with Hooi Ling :) such a short trip and I wish I can stay longer. I'm listening to "Your Song" by Elton John & Alessandro Safina while writing this, I do love to listen to songs while I'm doing my work, :) surprisingly listening to songs always helps me to come out with something that I can write on what I think at this moment.. In the beginning of my road of shooting weddings, I always think of "getting what you see as it is, Louis, remember not to pose anything" hahaha I guess this is what people will say I'm a surrealism freak! I guess that is the challenge of being a photographer, record down the event as it is, not so much of indulging of directing everything you come across just because you saw that same marvelous shots by some other photographer, therefore, you need to create one. I did this mistakes many times... I think my client loves it, but in fact they don't really do... in fact, they loved those simple yet heart "wrenching" shots like family group photos! (yeah you might laugh at me posting this, but this is what I noticed, they might have certain family members that the couple haven't seen them for years ok!) I'm blessed to have photographer friends to encourage each other on building your own style, to express your own creativity and to have your own views on certain things happening around you... I guess this is how you will grow as a person and not mimicking anyone :) *1 line from the song for all my lovely clients "And you can tell everybody this is your song" :)

This photo that I took on a recent trip with Hooi Ling at Cameron Highland, I always wonder how can I shoot a nice Cameron Tea plantation photo despite of my many attempt and I just can't get the color, contrast and most important of all.. the feel of it haha! I guess I got it this time and at least this is the best of all the years attempting to get 1. Sometimes I just can't help it but to sit down to think and ask myself this question over and over again, "Louis, what you love to shoot most?" Well, I won't tell you that I love to shoot wedding the most, serious. I remembered I've been asked before "Why you love to take wedding pictures?" I told him straight "because I loved to see people happy". Yeah thats the only reason I can think off and it is as simple as that. Many asked me this as well "Why don't you get your photos on competition and get some awards? then your business will grow!" HAhaHA! using my client's important occasion for my own gain and fame? I always telling myself this, that I'm one of the honoured guest to get an invitation to a wedding, I wanted to record down what I witnessed and not to look for an award winning photo. As for me, it is already enough to see my clients' happy face in the end of everything, a big hug, a thank you is what I'm looking for. On one occasion, the day suppose to be a bad day for me... towards the end of their reception, both the bride & groom gave me a BIG HUG saying thank you! ahhhhh I can't recall anything bad happening to me anymore. Thank you ya'll! you know who you are! hahahaha!

I'm back from Bintulu Sarawak, everything was so wonderful! From excellent friends. Thanks for everything guys... it was our pleasure to cover your wedding and to experienced ya'll hospitality and having to endure our troublesome needs of getting us out around for photo taking... hahaha! It was such a warm welcome from ya'll... I really don't know how to say thank you for the opportunity. Like what David says, "we come to cover one of our friend's wedding, have fun!". I remember when I started on this journey, I've mentioned there is someone, someone so important to me that she supported me in 100% on this adventure as a photographer. In the beginning, I always tell myself "who am I? what can you do? you don't even have any studies on this! can you do this??? hahaha silly you! how much can you make?" I think it is not so much on how you can do, how much money can you make or how silly you are, it is whether you have someone that is always standing by your side on whatever situation you are in, be it bad or good :) This special someone is my wife to be Hooi Ling. I asked her before if she is willing to trust this captain that is going to pilot the plane to a destination. And I'm the happiest man on earth when the answer is she want to be the only passenger to this 2 seater plane :)

I always remind myself, "Louis, you gotta have fun in any situation on every shooting assignment you are in, NO MATTER WHAT" I always did before I approach any of my assignment in order no matter I felt great or not that day.... I got to come out with something good. Have fun! anxious won't help you in anyway! God has being good to me, I enjoyed my work so much! with ultra good clients, people and single little lovely things happening around me while I shoot, there is nothing to be panic of :) Yesterday, while I'm shooting an assignment for one of my client on launching of a camera phone, they have kids as their models... haha I have so much fun yesterday! Loved to shoot kids... "they gave you unexpected candids"

While getting my sis to work this morning at Times square KL, we normally pass thru Pudu. Pudu is a place where we can say is a small part of our childhood having our primary school located in that area... where I spent 2 years... an eventful 2 years in this area growing up as a normal kid at the age of 12. Skipped school with buddies which one of them still in contact until today, loafing around "Mamak" (Indian coffee stall), spending our money at the local video game store! street fighter(the oldest generation)! hahaha! not to mention we are surrounded by gangsters that still roaming free in Pudu that time extorting money from small kids like us! hahahahahaha! over the years, I noticed Pudu facing constant change with new developments... :) and I still remember how one by one the patches of squaters has make way for all the so called improvement... This morning, I manage to capture just another patch of Pudu been taken away. Its gone, abit sad, but anyway! this place still remain as one of the best chapter of my life :)

It was 6 months ago when I first came to check out this apartment, it was an old, over 22years of age unit. As I walk around it while checking on the kitchen, the balcony, the washroom, rooms.... as usual guys... we check out the house before we think of either we want to move in and live in it right? It is this particular small sized balcony that I noticed in one of the room, probably the one of the main factor why I loved about this apartment.. is a type of plant that growth on it, to many, it doesn't look like the dream plant that we are looking for, but for me.. I just don't know why! I LOVED IT! not forget to mention with the morning sun shines on it! just so so awesome! the apartment might be old, small sized, in a not so attractive township.... but it has some of the loveliest thing that alot of places doesn't have.

As I sit at my place while having my morning coffee, I just can't help thinking of what have I updated last night on my twitter, saying "Thinking of what to write". Lately I came across with many writtings, no matter it is for photography or not, on blogs. Especially from the people I knew, after I read their blog I will tend to ask myself, "how come you didn't say it out?" "you keep it for so long in your heart?" "but you look OK to me!" hahahaha guys, not until you found out when you read in their "public" diary!

Sometimes I think technology really pull us apart, with the "help" of SMS,email,handphones,email on handphones!, don't get me wrong, I loved these lovely helpers, they exists in order to help us to be more effective, with the world going sososososo fast nowadays, you will consider to be "slow" just because you do not know how to blog :) Put yourself a few years back, do you ever think that a 8MP camera that you bought just merely 2 years ago can consider to becoming obselete item already? Things that suppose to help us are now actually being abused, people nowadays consider you are not running your business well when you fail to reply their SMS just 5 minutes after client have sent you a message, but in fact you are in a washroom doing your "big" business. Fail to pick up a phone call? you will branded that you don't want to talk to the person who is calling, emails... now worst, email on handphones! try for a late reply, you will end up spending half of the time explaining why you are late to reply his or her mail even after they sent you about an hour ago. Talking about camera equipments, having the best equipment is what every photographer's dream, but solely relying on it to make good photographs really miss the point. Like I said, a nice painting came from the painters heart, what he wants his viewer to see, how he express himself thru his painting, it all shows in the painters painting, not his or her collection of expensive brushes.

I so long for the days when we just have the one and only phone at home. Not that I don't want people to find me! haha, just that some of you will know what I meant, while we are out, we usually are with friends, close friends that we can talk to, express ourselves, play with, joke with, share our dreams with, people that can go thru thick and thin with you. Say you are stupid when you are chasing for a wrong girl! So, take a moment to think, do we still allows all these so called "helpers" to mould us to become someone that only can talk when we are behind the computer screen? Life is a journey, not a race track, take a minute to enjoy your surrounding while you travels life journey and you will be surprice what God has prepared for you in your life journey with Him.

Petaling Street (Black & White)

Went out again to Petaling street for some street shooting with David and Lee. Sometimes just have to get away from the routines that I have in terms of shooting, although all of the images below done by my CanonDSLR, I'm glad to shoot with my Olympus film SLR as well, just that need to develop them before posting them on... Excited, happy, joy ++++ is how I describe myself now... having to wait for the outcome for your works really brings me to another level of understanding photography... and not to mention film photography really test your limit to the max! the idea of we can't review from what we shoot really makes me "think before you snap" I can't help it but in few occasion to look at the camera after I snap! hahaha! thats how technology makes us so rely on the tools we have until we forgot what is the important thing in taking good photographs. Lately I came out a word, "The heavy black box is only a brush, but your heart is the paint for your photos" just my thought, nothing to boast about. :)

Its time to update some recent wedding parties that I shot and do not have the time to update you guys any yet...still have tons of it.... :) well, this was so so cool.... they have 2 evening receptions in Penang, This was at the 32 Mansion, you know what, they set a theme for this night, called the Madhatters party and their friends and relative came with funny hats! Kewl!!!!!!! and I'm gonna upload the second night in Rasa Sayang later ya.... lots of fun being there.... lots of laughter, dancing, happy people, good food.... kind of relaxing and fun to work with when I saw such receptions :)

BABA Low's

Its has been quite some time since I wrote anything here, allow me to introduce you BABA Low's 486 restaurant! haha, weird huh.. what Louis have to do with it? well, it is way back from last year since I have been invited to shoot a portfolio for Peter's restaurant (owner of BABA Low's 486 ) after almost spending every morning having my breakfast there when Hooi Ling still working at Bangsar, I get to know Peter. We have a few chat and he learned that I shoot photographs for a living, he invited me to shoot for his menu, mainly preparing nyonya food, like Nasi Lemak, Mee Siam, Laksa, Pai Tee to name a few and don't forget to mention their Cendol, cool! as Peter is from Melaka.... so, gula Melaka on the cendol lo.... slrppp.... :)

After that shoot, He invited me to shoot again but for this time is to get some portfolio of the founder of BABA Low! his dad in Melaka I really really have a super fantastic day shooting for him. I explain to you as we go along the photos ya....

This is their ancestor's house, in cantonese, Jou okk... hehe, cool! the 486 came from this house for the house number is 486, my jaw literally drop off once I saw the house..... :P

I loved these photos....

I do have a good and fantastic day shooting in Melaka that day, we have lunch together, went out to town together as Mr Low told me how every part of Melaka have changed, seeing how he talked to many people that walk pass him, like he knew everyone! but I guess his strong charisma makes him a person that is so approachable, even his neighbour that has migrated to London came back to look for him.... As I went in to a photo lab in town with Peter, the shop owner asked him, "Hi, how are Mr Low?" haha... now you know why I say he is friendly huh.... :)

After that we went back to their house, Mr Low show me the following photo... a wedding photo! that took somewhere early 20th century in front of the same house! I can't help it but took a photo of it! but what makes me WAH! is not the age of the photo, but the bride inside the photo, it is Peter's aunt that made the Nyonya rojak. (speechless)

Its been some years since I started, I remember when I asked this friend to think of a sentence to represent of what I'm doing, He asked, "what is the nature of your job?" I told him I would to make a moment to stops at it is, it never fades, like I'm stopping something and my viewer will have the time to stop to look at when in real life it will pass away without we even noticed it and he came out with a sentence that I'm carrying it to this day.... I loved it! I was sitting beside window while I'm writing this, after sending Hooi Ling to her workplace, It is my norm nowadays to spend some time in front of the pc screen looking at some works done by this particular team of photographers...(a couple which is both photographers with 2 children) Love their works, It moves me.... sometimes I wonder how they create those impressive works, those smiles, those fun, those joy, those happiness they found in each of the couple they photographs, it makes me look at their stuff again & again with my heart sinks deep inside (impressive) each time I browse thru their works. Hahaha... like my motivation portal!They never fail to capture me everytime I drop by.

I think a good photographer always does the magic if the viewer manage to get who the photographer is thru his photographs... I'm currently reading a biography on this well known photojournalist "Henri Cartier Bresson" (will blog it once I finished the book ya, I'm just half way thru...) One particular descriptions by the writer by the time he interviewed Henri is, he can't find any of Henri's works hang around his home, not a single one. I wonder why, he don't like his own works? I just can't tell why, maybe 1 day I will. I do really love this particular part, where Henri really a "Machine gun" shooter, where he will shoot a particular incident in sequence. whereby in that sequence, there is what I called it "Star" of the shoot, means there is only one and only good shot, but on the other hand, it is the sequence that makes and show us how the "Star" came about. But unfortunately, some of those sequence can't be found anymore cause Henri cut those he does not want and throw it away hahahahaha!

Well, I guess this is how makes him so unique, in fact, every one is different on how ones does things, it is the end results (photos) that counts, not the process.

I say it again, I "TREMBLED" my hands have the kind of feeling when it turns sour, suddenly you felt so cold, legs try to give up on you... when only your brain is working well... hahahahaha! it still happens now! but it feels so great now....

I always do amazed on kids, somehow they always reminds me of who I am when I was a kid back then, I'm the typical type.... always got chase by my mom by doing something wrong :). As I loved to photograph them now, I do notice a similarity in them, the level of curiosity they have... they seems to get attracted by things happening around them so often...wherelse we "so called" adults always think that we know so much until we come to a point of time that we think we "know" I do not have any kids yet... but I guess thats how they learn huh? don't you think?
