Keeping Memories

We just came back from Singapore and arrived this morning at about 8:30am in the morning. After so many years, I find Singapore is so different compared to the last time I went there. At least for the food, it is not as bad it used to be (maybe I have a really bad experience at the wrong place and at the wrong time). In fact, some tasted really good!

In these few days, it really bring back those sweet memories back then when you have few of your close friends together just to travel down south to do our shopping here! Shoes, apparels that you can't get in KL at a good bargain! I remembered when we used to stay at my friend's cousin house at "Ang Moh Kio".

In order not to spend too much money on food, we shared Maggi mee for our lunch. You guys may think we are silly, yeah.... we are, but these are the things that will remain in my mind and my heart.

Came across this booklet at Suntec City Mall - "Keeping Memories" (during the "Heritage Fest") , it is a compilation of photographs accommodate with stories from various people about their past memories in Singapore. There's one small para from the book that strucks me -

"Photographs and keepsakes make these memories tangible. A picture. A story. A memory. Keep them. Share them." - Lily Tan
And I totally agree with that. :)

Will post some of Hooi Ling's photos and me in Singapore later.

Next Generation

Let me introduce to you some of the youngest generation in my church (Petra Gospel Centre). My church consist of about 70% of youth and let me see...... If i'm not wrong, there are 4 generations in Petra..... and I still belong to the 3rd generation hehehehehe.....

First, I want to introduce to you guys Keegan, also my "godson" and in Cantonese "Kai Jai", my best friend's son and his birthday date is the same as mine! Haha! Sometimes I will call him in Cantonese "gei gan" translated in English as" few kilos".
Second picture is Eliza! Did I spell it right? or Aliza? Correct me if I'm wrong. I took this photo last Sunday while she was waiting for her breakfast to be serve.....while waiting..... she is biting the table? Gosh! That was cute.

And Lamuel...... look like his father...... our brother Lip Seng, handsome fella! (hmm hmm!! I mean Lamuel). Both Eliza and Lamuel are Lip Seng's children...... there are still more kids to introduce soon and stay tune! (That's what I call "be fruitful and multiply") hehehehe.... By the way, my previous post "baby James" he is also one of the youngest generation in Petra.

A photograph of baby James at our church during our fellowship night last month. Initially I was thinking of taking some photos for filing but noticed that he was standing in front of me as his face was wondering what am I doing....So, I took a shot of him! He is soooo blur....don't you think?
