Wednesday to Friday (my happenings)

Hmmm.... for this time round I would like to update things that happened since Wednesday, Lets talk about Wednesday itself, It was 3:19pm and I was taking a break in one of the newly found coffee bar (at least in KL, I might be wrong, tell me if you saw any Illy's bar other than this) named Espressamente "Illy" at Pavillion. I saw it few days back while i'm out on a shooting assignment on Monday and I didn't have the time to try it out not until on Wednesday. Well, i'm back to my usual routine of getting a day off after every assignment and I thought of getting to the bar and to have my brew of black coffee just to found out that the coffee bar features as the name suggested "espresso"...... I ordered an "Espresso Dopio = Double espresso, it filled only the half the usual espresso cup and as I took a sip, the bitterness turned sweet! nice. Alright! It was on Thursday 8th November and here we are! in Penang, Hooi Ling and me decide to pay a visit to Pulau Jerejak since we are planning a trip for those SPM guys in our church youth group after their exam, the island is located just less than 1KM off Penang island, I can tell you that this island doesn't have the nice beach and crystal clear sea water that you have in the east, but the history itself can make this island have its own uniqueness..... as for you all who doesn't know, this island was once used by Francis Light as a stop for health screening test before the imigrants are sent to the Penang island to work, a leper hospital and a prison for Malaysia most wanted criminals. Interesting.

After the trip to Pulau Jerejak, I was booked into a...... I just don't know how to call it, a hotel? or a lodge? since it is called Hutton Lodge, so, I decide to call it a lodge! hehe, a pleasant place to stay I would say, friendly service, clean rooms and interesting washrooms....... it is a mansion turned to a "low budget lodge"

by now you will know what I mean by saying Hutton Lodge have a interesting washroom, look at the window (it doesn't look like one) and guess wat! I wonder the guest staying at the 2nd floor can see people (including me) taking bath in this washroom or not......

As usual, a scene in a "kopi shop" (coffee house) in Penang.

Love the design of the shops here, it is getting lesser in KL now.
